Group camping is available in the sequoia. This is easily some of the most spectacular hiking in the santa cruz. There are 12 cabins 38 campsites some of which can accommodate rvs one rv site with eletcical and water hook ups and one group. This famous trail leads from the crest of the santa cruz mountains to the pacific ocean.

Big basin features three standard tent and rv campgrounds one walk in campground two group camps and a hike n bike campground. Campground nestled amongst the majestic redwood trees. On the coastal side of big basin redwoods state park reservations can be made for guests to camp overnight with their horses. The park has over 80 miles of trails on 18 000 acres. Including the most famous 30 mile skyline to the sea trail. Each one includes a picnic table fire pit and a proper food locker.

The rv park is open year round and the campground is open may through september. Feeding wildlife is prohibited by law. There are 53 campsites a few of which are very close to the actual creek. Huckleberry also has an inventory of 36 tent cabins available by advance reservation only which provide a unique camping experience with many of the amenities of home.
